about
Megan Holcomb is a Brooklyn based 2D Animator and multi-media artist focused on creating soft, delicate, and moving works about patience, human connection, and how the world around us provides inspiration.
She grew up wearing hearing aids that shaped her outlook on the world and how important the senses are to human relationships, inspiring her art to use color and lines strategically to what we see, and what we hear. Losing certain senses will heighten the others, as the world in her work naturally gravitates to whimsical colors and soft movement.
Born and raised in Texas, she moved to nyc to study at Pratt Institute to acquire her BFA in 2D Animation. she is now building new stories and animations, meeting new artists, and dancing the weekends away while catching up on the latest of astronomy discoveries.
